Eric Ku immigrated from Taiwan in 2001. Eric and his family came to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and stayed with his aunt and uncle who already lived there.
Raised without religion, he talks about encountering Southern Baptists in a grocery parking lot.
He talks about praying in the parking lot with customers who would ask him to become Christian.
Upon enrolling at the local school, Oral Roberts University, he discovered that daily prayers were a part of his new regimen. Eric moved to New York to continue his studies.
He now resides in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY.
